Damar Romeyelle Hamlin (born March 24, 1998) is an American football safety for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills (NFL). He attended the University of Pittsburgh and was picked by the Bills in 2021.
During his first season, he was a backup player until being promoted to a regular starter in his second. On January 2, 2023, after delivering a tackle, Hamlin slumped on the field and went into heart arrest during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
